1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
Watching the world through the eyes of my 2 year old, hearing my 6 year old say that you are the most beautiful girl in the world, exchanging an inside joke with my husband just by looking at him across a room full of people, getting nostalgic over childhood memories with my sister, listening to my mom worry about me like I’m still a kid, looking at my dad play with my children.
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
Expectation: We always start with grand plans for our date nights – a walk on the beach, candle light dinner, dancing… Reality: However with our busy schedules, it often ends up with us having Thai take-out from our favorite hole in the wall restaurant followed by binge watching our favorite shows on Netflix. Quality time spent while talking, laughing, and eating with my husband is all I need for a perfect date.
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
Practicing Bikram yoga and meditation helps me relax by establishing the mind-body connection and nourishing the soul. Over time, yoga has taught me the art of controlled breathing which has an immediate effect on diffusing emotional energy and slowing down heart rate, hence leading to a state of calmness. Praying helps me relax by allowing me to spiritually connect and align with God. It releases the power of control to an entity greater than oneself.
4.What is the most random fact you know?
My personal style is an amalgam of my life influences and reflects my personality and heritage. It is simple, classic, modest, and elegant. I believe that style is an artistic expression of self and if you aren’t comfortable with what you are wearing, it will show. I love timeless pieces. Coco Chanel is one of my favorite style icons and in her words: “A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous”.
